Before pictures of Braden's dilapidated home

Sham on them!

Braden tries to claim that her home was in perfect condition, and it was functional with walls and floors in perfect condition. This could not be further from the truth, Braden was looking for someone to blame and found a way to get her home renovated for free. Braden tried to claim that her home was in perfect condition and was functional, with walls and floors in excellent condition. This could not be further from the truth. Braden was looking for someone to blame and found a way to get her home renovated for free. Unwitting Contractors put $100,000 into fixing it because she lied to get her way, and CBC encouraged it. Braden and CBC were misleading the Contractor in the Storey.

The Kitchen was in shambles! Before we stepped foot in her home.

The base and upper cabinets were in extremely poor shape, and the plumbing was constantly backed up. Braden told me that she had to call Roto-Rooter plumbers in Saskatoon to unclog her drains a couple of times a month. The countertop was not joined to the cabinets, the doors were falling off their hinges, poor upkeep to the backsplash and storage below. Tiles on walls were falling off the walls, etc. Not part of the claim as CBC leads the public to believe.

Kitchen and base cabinet on the
floor for years. Not part of the claim.

The insulation was open to the air with no poly or drywall—the family had been breathing in insulation particles for years. Braden had no flooring because she had ripped up the floor in an attempt to renovate and install the floor herself.

This was existing work done by Braden before we started the small insurance claim.

Braden created this on her own and lived in it for over two years before the roof leaked into her kitchen and dining room. Now Braden is trying to blame me for her mess. The foam applied to her back door was Braden’s attempt to seal her back door. Braden installed the back door. This was not part of the claim. Most of the pictures shown by CBC were not part of the claim.

Inside Kitchen Base Cabinets Existing

The inside of the cabinets was not painted, rotten wood and not from an insurance claim. CBC led you to believe this was part of the insurance claim, just like they tried to say that the attic was part of the claim. Not true. Just poorly maintained. The cabinets were from the original house built in the early 1900 hundreds. The attic and cabinets were not part of the claim. She lied, and so did CBC.

Braden's Bathroom.
(Existing prior to contractor coming in to do minor work)

Bathroom  Tinny.

Main floors damaged and vinyl floor coving ripped and not correctly laid down. Wall and casings were chipped, and paint peeled off doors, walls, and casings. Braden allowed this home to be run down.

Bathroom

The bathroom sink was barely functional, plumbing leaked, and there were holes in the subfloor.

Bathroom

This was an existing shelf in her shower. The walls are made of plaster and the walls were falling apart. The tub was only 4' long and was rotting out.

Bathroom

This part above the shower was an insurance claim only. Due to Braden's work being done in stages, it took a long time for us to finish our work with SGI Insurance.

Braden's Attic. (Before Pictures) Nothing to do with us!

Attic not our doing!

How can a news company knowingly allow this to be published without following the story properly and reporting the truth? No one regulates them, and then lies will continue—fake news by CBC.

Attic Insulation full of mold

The Insulation was frozen to the ceiling, and we had to throw out the Insulation between the rafters so it did not leak down to the kitchen and dining area were we where working. Electrical wires every ware. Not part of the claim.

Back of home street side of the Attic

The attic was not the company's responsibility that CBC led you to believe. The attic was like this from day one when we got there. SGI has their pictures as well to back up are images.

Other Companies that bid on the job new that this was like that to start with.

We did not install anything or remove anything other than the live wires Braden had hanging down from the attic. Braden moved load-bearing walls that could potentially harm our workers or burn down the home due to Branden's poor lack of judgment on removing and allowing live wires to hang in the attic.
